Mad Piper...

The Freestone Point Battery box, located in Leesylvania State Park, Woodbridge, VA has been replaced. On 12/26/00 I found it torn apart, logbook wet, container full of frozen water and the stamp missing. I rescued and dried out the logbook pages and incorporated them into the new logbook. I carved a close duplicated stamp and put it all in a new container and replaced it in the original location.

It is a beautiful location adjacent to the Potomac river and I am planning on putting another box out there in a week or two.
